I enjoy looking for books with unique covers in addition to well-known titles and vintage books. This over 100 year old edition of Little Red Riding Hood and Other Stories has been repurposed into a cover for a blank journal.
Several of the original pages are included on the inside pages and in the signatures. The book binding is a flexible spine of color coordinated fabric and stitched to the covers using a chain stitch. The book contains five signatures of ivory 80lb sketch/watercolor paper (50 pages / 100 writing surfaces). The book opens flat to make drawing/writing easier. The insides of the front and back cover are decorated with pages from the book.
Due to the age of the covers and being repurposed, there may be slight blemishes and marks. The gently used nature is part of the beauty of the book. As with all handmade items, handle with care.
