This mini journal book is handmade from vintage fabrics culled from vintage fairs, flea markets, my Grandmother's attic and my linen closet.
The outside cover is a base of vintage fabric decorated with lace, fabric bits and hand stitching. A vintage hanky was stitched into a teacup shape to give it a tea theme. The inside is lined with matching fabric. The book is a total of 24 pages of velvety soft pages made from fabric lined with tissue paper and teabag paper to give the fabric a little more support. I hand sew the pages with a Coptic binding stitch.
It's perfect for saving little bits of ephemera, small collages, hand-stitch creations and other tiny treasures.
